Design Features and Construction
Surround Technologies crane cabs are custom built to exact specifications:

• 12 gauge all welded steel construction (exterior)
• Interior wall sheeting is perforated metal (galvanized) and riveted on 24" centers to the
__steel framing.
• All areas within the structure that are not painted or galvanized will be coated with an iron
__oxide anti-corrosive primer.
• The exterior paint is typically a high quality industrial-enamel, suitable for most inland and
__salt environments. The final exterior coating has an esthetic texture finish.
• Specialty and marine coatings available upon request.
• 1/4" aluminum checker plate interior floor
• Basic electrical packages consisting of service panel, lighting package, air conditioning,
__utility duplex receptacles, windshield wiper assemblies, etc.
• Operator console assemblies are included or optional
• Control wiring on operator console
• Inter-connect between console and control panel, available upon request.
• In-floor wireways as required
• Safety glass windows
