qualified in-house team, with input and expertise provided by the people who will
be working on your project.
Prior to the start of fabrication, we provide you with a comprehensive CAD drawing
for approval of your project.
By maintaining control over the complete process from design through delivery, we ensure
the enclosure is built to your exact specifications.

Packaging
In addition to offering extensive design and fabrication services, Surround can put it all together for you in a complete package ranging from 60 kW to 2,000 kW Gensets. Our services include mounting and wiring battery chargers, water jacket heaters, cabling of switchgear, transfer switches, lights and distribution panels, electric unit heaters, and installation of complete exhaust systems.
Our packaging services include custom turn-key packages, enclosures packaged around your existing generator and accessories, skid mounting, trailer mounting and more. Surround's team will work closely with you to offer creative solutions to your unique needs.
Design Features & Construction
Surround Technologies enclosures are built to exacting specifications:
• Interior lining is 22-gauge perforated galvanized metal, fastened to wall
__framing
"centers.
• Construction specifications meet Seismic Zone 4 requirements.
• Enclosure will withstand wind loads of 100 mph and roof load of 40 lbs./sq.ft.
• All areas within the structure that are not painted or galvanized are coated with
__an industrial enamel anti-corrosive primer.
• The exterior paint is a high quality industrial enamel, suitable for most inland
__and salt environments.
• The final exterior coating has an aesthetic texture finish.
• Sandblasting, specialty and marine coatings available upon request.
• Air intake and discharge hushducts are designed for low pressure drop.
• Support cross members for exhaust silencers are supplied as well as the rain
__shield for the roof penetration.
• The doors will match the wall exteriors. Door hardware options include 3-point,
__freezer style, or panic bar. All locksets are common keyed.
