Surround technologies designs and manufactures crane operator cabs for any crane application. All components of the cab's construction are manufactured
in-house. With control over all aspects of the construction, extremely high quality standards can be maintained. Prior to the start of fabrication, we provide you with a comprehensive CAD drawing for approval of your project.

Design Features and Construction
Surround Technologies crane cabs are custom built to exacting specifications:

• 10 gauge all welded steel construction
__- Other materials available include aluminum, galvanized steel and stainless steel.
• Interior liner of 22 gauge galvanized solid steel riveted to framing members on 24" centers.
• The exterior of steel cabs has surface preparation in accordance with SSPC-SP6 (industrial sandblast).
__Primer coat is a zinc rich epoxy, the mid coat is of high build epoxy enamel and the final coat
__is of Amershield Polyurethane.. The final exterior coating has an aesthetic texture finish.
• 1/4" aluminum checker plate interior floor
• Basic electrical packages consisting of service panel, lighting package, air conditioning, utility duplex
__receptacles, windshield wiper assemblies, etc.
• Operator console assemblies are included or optional
• Control wiring on operator console
• Inter-connect between console and control panel, available upon request.
• Safety glass windows
